InScience is the annual science film festival. It sets for five days in November in the city of Nijmegen. The fifth edition takes place from November the 6th till the 10th of 2019. Preparations are being made for the program of InScience 2019. The complete program appears around October 2019 on this website.

The main location of the festival is Arthouse LUX. Multiple of its screening rooms are used to show the programmed films. The lobby and the café will be the festival’s heart for people to meet and information to be found.

Several parts of the program take place outside of LUX and are set for: Mariënburgplein and Mariënburgkapel.

This is an international film festival, which means all foreign films are either in English or have English subtitles. Some of the discussions immediately following the films will also be in English. This is indicated in the relevant program guides and in the timetable.

The ticket sale for InScience 2019 starts in October. Tickets will be available online or at LUX’s cash register. Reservation is not possible. The entry prices below are applied, unless noted otherwise.

You can use your Cineville Pass at InScience to visit as many films as you want. The Cineville Pass can only be ordered online via the Cineville website.

Are you planning to visit multiple programs? Then get an InScience ticket strip! For €18 you are entitled to three program tickets, with a maximum of one ticket per program. You can visit the programs over multiple days, you are not bound by a single festival day. You can buy the strip card in two ways:

• Offline, via LUX’s cash register. This is a paper ticket strip. This variant is only for sale at LUX’s cash register and can only be used to get your tickets at the register. There is no limit on the number of offline ticket strips.
• Online, via the website. Per account, you can purchase a maximum of one online InScience ticket strip. First, you buy the ticket strip with your InScience/LUX account. After purchase, you can buy three programs for € 0.-. After purchasing three tickets with the ticket strip, you can purchase more tickets with your account at a regular rate.
