The Atomic Soldiers

At the end of the Second World War, the US military is experimenting with nuclear tests in the Nevada desert. It is estimated that some 400,000 soldiers have undergone more than 1,000 atomic tests. The missions were secret. The men did not know what they were being used for and were naïve about their exposure to radioactive radiation. After more than 40 years of forced silence, the last surviving ‘atomic soldiers’ share their unfathomable experiences.
