InScience and the Arnhem INNOVATE festival are joining forces to strengthen both festivals. Science, technology and art are the ingredients of both festivals: involving and reaching a wide audience with developments in science and technology as their objective.

InScience and INNOVATE organize three events. The festivals each reflect the individual character of their city: where InScience primarily opts for a scientific approach, INNOVATE stands for making.

• We kick off the collaboration on Friday, October 5th with a special Meet-Up for teachers. There will be a continuous program of lectures, short pitches and workshops on the theme of ‘creative education’ (learning to make).
• On Saturday, October 6th InScience will be a guest on the public day of INNOVATE. On this day InScience screens a selection of films on the theme of energy.
• Finally, INNOVATE organizes a business to business meeting during InScience. This meeting will take place on Thursday 8 November with the theme of artificial intelligence and what that can mean for their business.
